Rotary Club



On July 2, the Manistique Rotary Club installed new officers. Local attorney Kathryn Denholm, left, took over the club presidency from Rick Pink, DDS. Pink served as president for the last two years. George Montgomery, CEO of Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital, and Kathy Mc- Donough, superintendent of Manistique Area Schools, not shown, were reappointed and installed as club secretary and treasurer. Manistique Rotary is the local affiliate of Rotary International. The club is active in providing service to the community and raises funds for local scholarships. In the month of July, the club held a strawberry shortcake booth at Folkfest, will host their annual scholarship golf outing on July 20, and participate in the “Adopt a Highway” program. The club meets each Monday at noon in “The 40” Restaurant Bar and Grill.
