Frederick M. Spencer

Frederick M. Spencer, 94, of Oxford, Mich., passed away Tuesday,

July 3, 2012.

Frederick was an U.S. Army veteran of WW 2, serving in Germany and France. He worked and retired from Chrysler. Frederick and his late wife Minnie, then relocated to Manistique, Mich., where they lived for 25 years.

Fred was an avid fisherman, hunter, “naturalist”, and lover of the outdoors and he passed his love of the outdoors to his daughters and grandchildren. He was very proud to be a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was the beloved husband of the late Minnie; dear father of Deborah L. Seibly of Redlands, Calif.; and Patricia (Chuck) Earl of Rochester Hills, Mich.; loving grandfather of Charles (Jessica) Earl of Utah and Emily Earl of Rochester Hills. Fred is also survived by his cat, Ricky.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 7, at 11 a.m. in Lake Orion Chapel, Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home. Interment was in Downing Cemetery, Deckerville, Mich. Memorial reflections may be made to www.sparksgriffin.com.
