Festivities for Manistique’s annual Independence Day Celebration kicked off Friday with a Kiddie Parade. Above, one participant cycles down Cedar Street on a tricycle adorned with patriotic decorations. On Saturday, the celebration continued with the Independence Day parade, which featured numerous floats and marchers. At top left, girls from the “stone age” carry buckets of candy to toss. At bottom right, a parade participant passes out patriotic toys to young onlookers. The annual Art Fair also took place Saturday in the Manistique Marina. At bottom left a group pauses from playing music during the eclectic celebration.
