Garden hosts home tour event

Annual tours feature bayside homes

GARDEN – The annual “Homes on the Bay” tour, sponsored by the Village Artisans of Garden, will take place July 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Village of Garden. This year’s tour will showcase homes fronting on Garden Bay.

The homes on both the north and south sides of the bay present differing aspects of scenic area. Within a mile of the Village of Garden, these homes offer some of the best views of the water

Beginning at 10 a.m., tickets for the tour and salad luncheon may be obtained at the Village Artisans/Garden Gallery on State Street in Garden. The homes will be open from then until 2 p.m. for visitation. At the Johnson home, visitors will be treated to lounge music with piano and percussion.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. a salad luncheon will be served in the backroom and deck area of the Garden Gallery. Up to twenty different salads, homemade desserts, breads and drinks will be served. Donation for the event is $10.

This event is an annual fundraiser for the many arts programs in the community which are sponsored or supported by the Artisans. Now in its eighth year, the tour and luncheon has been a popular destination for those seeking a pleasant drive, a delicious meal and a unique tour experience.
