Taking time to celebrate

Festivities included over 50 arts and crafts booths, the Lions’ Famous Chicken BBQ, and the “Biggest Little Town Parade in Michigan”. Above, left, spectators watch as the Petoskey Steel Band plays a tune while passing by. Pioneer Days also took place Saturday in Pioneer Park in Manistique. Features throughout the day included musical entertainment; an early American encampment with demonstrations and music; special “Christmas Tree Ship” exhibits; and a Schoolcraft County Chamber of Commerce bake sale.
