Paving the way

Employees of Hebert Construction Company work to pave Elk and- Fifth streets Friday. They are one of the first streets to be completed in the Manistique infrastructure project. The street will now be used as a detour during MDOT construction on M-94. The entire infrastructure project is expected to be completed by Nov. 14, with the first to inches of paving done by the end of October. Above, Jerry LaFord operates a paver while other Bacco employees look on.
