Music in Manistique returns for summer

MANISTIQUE – Summer is here, which means “Music in Manistique” has returned. The series, a product of YETI (Youth Entertaining Teen Interests) and CUPPAD (Central Upper Peninsula Planning & Development Regional Commission), features entertainment each Wednesday at the band shell in Central Park.

This summer’s schedule features a variety of performers, including:

-June 27: Jef Nelson Trio

-July 4: Floyd Brothers

-July 11: Darrell Syria Experience

-July 18: Lost Cause, sponsored by Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital

-July 23: Scenes, sponsored by mBank

-Aug. 1: Bearwalkers, sponsored by Manistique Federal Credit Union

-Aug. 8: BMT Trio, sponsored by the State Savings Bank

-Aug. 15: Evergreen 7

-Aug. 22: Doug Mains and the City Folk

-Aug. 29: TBA
