MONDAY, JULY 2

Crafty Camping

11:00 a.m. - Get together with the Park Explorer Guide near the camp host site and create some high flying fun.

What in the World?

1:00 p.m. - Join the Park Explorer Guide at Palms Book State Park to uncover the mystery of the week. This program will encourage the naturalist in all

THURSDAY, JULY 5

Wild Outside

5:00 p.m. - Visit with the Park Explorer Guide at the beach for a special peek into nature with stories and songs about the wide outdoors.

Bats Amazing

9:00 p.m. - Are bats scary, creepy creatures? Join the Park Explorer Guide at the Picnic Shelter and uncover the truth about Michigan’s only flying mammal.

FRIDAY, JULY 6

Lean Green Camping

5:00 p.m. - Meet the Park Explorer Guide at the 1st bathrooms and Discover ways to travel, enjoy nature and be kind to the planet.

Tree Trek

7:00 p.m. - There’s more to the forest than the trees. Meet the Park Explorer Guide at the 1st bathrooms for a closer look at the woods. Dress comfortably and don’t forget the bug spray for this moderate 40 minute hike.

SATURDAY, JULY 7

Kitch-iti-kipi

1:00 p.m. - Visit with the Park Explorer Guide at Palms Book State Park to learn about regional history and view the crystal clear 45 foot deep pool.

Bobcats, Coyotes, Fishers, oh my!

7:00 p.m. - Meet the Park Explorer Guide at the camp host site; investigate carnivores. Those interested in participating should meet at the first bathrooms near the camp host unless otherwise stated.

Adults and children welcome. Programs are free and open to all. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
