MANISTIQUE – The Indian Lake State Park schedule of events for the week June 18-23 is as follows:

What in the world

June 18, 2 p.m., join the Park Explorer Guide at Palms Book State Park to uncover the mystery of the week. This program will encourage the naturalist in all.

Wild Outside

June 22, 5 p.m., visit with the Park Explorer Guide at the beach for a special peek into nature with stories and songs about the wide wild outdoors.

Rambling Rodents

June 22, 8 p.m., there’s more to the forest than the trees. Meet the Park Explorer Guide at the first bathrooms for a closer look at the woods. Dress comfortably and don’t forget the bug spray for this moderate 40 minute hike.

Kitch-iti-kipi

June 23, 1 p.m., visit with the Park Explorer Guide at Palms Book State Park to learn about regional history and view the crystal clear 45 foot deep pool.

Batteries not Included

June 23, 5 p.m., meet the Park Explorer Guide at the camp host site - explore old fashioned toyscreate a unique reminder of your stay at the park.

Tree Trek

June 23, 9 p.m., there’s more to the forest than the trees. Meet the Park Explorer Guide at the first bathrooms for a closer look at the woods. Dress comfortably and don’t forget the bug spray.
