Mike Ziminski, of Jack’s Fresh Market, recently presented a check in the amount of $500 to Fourth of July committee representatives Dick Ketcik and Nancy Irie. The committee for years had held a successful Mother’s Day Dinner as a fund-raiser, but due to declining attendance, the dinner was not held this year. To help support the committee in replacing the desperately needed funds, Jack’s offered to sell racks of cooked barbecue ribs with $1 per rack donated to the Fourth of July.
