‘Yoopers’ ride free at Pictured Rocks

MUNISING – of the Upper Peninsula the opportunity to explore experience the beauty of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore from the Pictured Rocks Cruise boats – free!

Pictured Rocks Cruises, Inc. is declaring Saturday, June 9, as the first-ever “Yoopers-Ride-Free Day.”

Cruises manager, John Madigan of Munising, said he wanted to offer the free rides because, “Even though we are surrounded by the beauty of the Upper Peninsula, we don’t always have time to really see our own environmental treasures up close. This is an opportunity for U.P. residents to experience the breathtaking, unforgettable views of the Pictured Rocks shoreline.” specialistWeather-permitting, depart from theschedulecruisesJunewill
