Gary C. Heet
Gary Conrad Heet, 66, of Gulliver, Mich., passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Gary was born on Feb. 2, 1946 and grew up in Wayne Lakes, Ohio and Richmond, Ind.
He served in the US Navy for four years and then went on to earn bachelor and master degrees in wildlife management from OSU.
He worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 26 years.
Gary enjoyed grouse hunting, fishing, and collecting antiques, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marilyn (Freer) Heet; daughter, Julie (Rusty) Presley; sons, David (Maureen) Heet and Andrew Heet; brothers, Bill Heet, Jim (MaryBeth) Hudson, Robert (Judy) Hudson; sister, Holly Hudson, and four grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Berdyne (Swisher) and William C. Heet; and sister, Sally Heet.
