Joseph J. Rivard
2012, where he will experience everlasting life free from sin.
Joe was a long-time (active) resident of
Manistique, Mich., before he moved to
Wisconsin around 1990. He was brought up
Catholic and attended St. Francis de Sales
School before moving on to the Manistique
High School where he graduated in 1972.
He challenged entrepreneurship most of his life and loved doing it. R & R Sporting
Goods, Joe and Son’s Cable Construction, Diane’s Pub & Grill and most recently Crabby Joe’s of Neosho, were all dreams and adventures he pursued. He was loved by most and strived to help all. He will be greatly missed by all who “knew” him.
He is survived by his father, Jules (the late Leona) Rivard; sons, Jacob (Joan) Rivard, Michael (Tricia) Rivard, and Daniel (Corrine) Rivard; sisters, Julie (the late Ancel) Burrell, Sally (Dale) Dufour and Ginger (Ralph) Reynolds; three stepchildren, James (Rachel) Yesko, Michael Yesko and Jackie Yesko; grandchildren, Jenaya, Jacob, Jaycee, Jaiden, Aaron, Jordan, Trista, Haleigh, Donovan and Lilyana; other survivors include numerous cousins, several aunts and uncles, and a couple of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona “Nuna” (Duchene) Rivard; his baby girl Jodie Rivard; and several others in the extended family.
A memorial service will be held at Messier-Broullire Funeral Home on May 19.
