American Legion Posts sponsor a Legislative dinner

The Upper Peninsula Association of American Legion Posts will sponsor a Legislative Dinner on Saturday, April 28 at the American Legion Post 50 in Iron Mountain. The event is open to the public and community support is always appreciated.

The dinner is held to recognize and show appreciation for the elected legislators and their continued attention to veteran’s issues. This is a light hearted fun event and all veterans are encouraged to attend.

Emcee for the dinner and roast of legislators is Rich Brown, assistant clerk of the House of Representatives in Lansing.

The evening will begin with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 7 p.m. The cost is $15; tickets may be purchased in advance at Post 50 or by calling (906) 774- 5797 Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. CST. Reserved tickets may be held at the door upon request. Tickets are limited and will only be available until April 15.
