It was not an easy feat for the forward player and her fellow teammates who make up the CT Polar Bears. The journey began on Wednesday, March 28, when they beat the Lady Bulldogs with a score of 2-6. On March 29, they had a 4-0 shutout against Assabet Valley. On March 30, they fell to Potsdam Ice Storm 4-1.

The two wins in round robin action seeded them number two in quarter final action on March 31. A 1-6 win over the Chicago Bruins advanced them to the semi finals to take on the East Coast Wizards.

Tied at 2-2 after three periods of regulation play, the game went into four overtimes before the CT Polar Bears were able to put the winning goal on the scoreboard. After three hours and 42 minutes of action, the win moved the CT Polar Bears on to play in the finals April 1 against the San Jose Jr. Sharks.

They won the final game against the Sharks to take the championship title with a score of 4-3.
