The Schoolcraft County Fair Association is eagerly looking forward to this year’s fair. They have new board members, some new officers and a lot of new ideas. The 2012 annual event has been scheduled for July 20-21, to coincide with the City of Manistique’s Triathlon. The fair is set to have Abracadabra with their inflatables, hatching of chicks, new food vendors and entertainment for both days. A fund raising raffle will start soon with your ticket purchase putting you into a drawing for a chance to win a 2012 Polaris ATV. The committee is looking forward to making our county fair bigger and better and look forward to the community’s participation in revitalizing the annual event. Pictured are: Dick Ketcik, vice president; Melissa Howard, manager and treasurer; Pam Weber, president; and Terry Ryerse, secretary. Not pictured is Jenny Vandyck, pageant director.
