Emerald Elementary Student Wellness Team put on a “Design a bag” contest to promote eating healthy and being active seeing March is National Nutrition Month. The bags for the school wide contest were donated by Jack’s Fresh Market. They will inturn use the bags at their store to further help spread the message throughout the community. The classroom winners include (left to right): fifth grade - Kendra Cournaya; third grade - Ava Fleck; second grade - Lark Denney; fourth grade - Emilee McDaniel; first grade - Kelsey Muth; and kindergarten - Nastia VanDyck.
