Bruton M. Gundersen

Burton M. Gundersen, 73, of Menasha, Wis., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 3, 2012.

Burton was born on Nov. 11, 1938, in Manistique, Mich., to the late Martin and Ebba (Oberg) Gundersen. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He was employed at Neenah Foundry for over 35 years, retiring in 2000.

Burton was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Packers and Lions. He was a member of 25-year Club at the Neenah Foundry.

Survivors include his brother, Robert Gunderson, of Appleton, Wis.; and sister, Judith (Paul) Fluette, of Menasha; niece and nephews, Stephen (Karen) Gunderson, Mark Fluette, Cathy (Larry) Zarling, David (Janet) Gunderson and Scott Gunderson. He is further survived by his sister-inlaw, Betty Gunderson.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Jack Gunderson; and sister-in-law, Ruth Gunderson.

Private family services will be held.
